Everyday care keeps your teeth healthy. Your web site needs regular care too. Built with WordPress software, various plugins, and templates, your site is unique depending on what we built it to do. If you don’t tend to it, it will decay, and eventually your site won’t work.
Each WordPress site has a number of small software programs connected to make it work. There is the WordPress core software, feature plugins, design themes, and server operations that are constantly changing. These programs are regularly revised to prevent errors, improve functionality, and maintain security. Someone needs to stay on top of the changes. That’s me.
Keeping an eye on the health of the site only takes a few minutes a day, like brushing your teeth. But, without weekly maintenance, your site will break down. And you can expect the site to disappear just at that time you need it most.
You’re busy. And daily upkeep of your site is probably not high on your list. Why not have me economically take the worry off your plate? My maintenance is affordable, and you’ll know ahead of time if any big changes are coming. I keep you informed.
Yes, it’s true. Somebody is trying to hack your site all the time. Why? Generally to install some super-secret thing into the pages that will help them fake out somebody else on the web, or to get your personal details and steal some stuff. I use a program called Wordfence to block most everything out there. No guarantee something won’t happen, but a great defense for your site.
Free Software: Lots of items in WordPress, are open-source and free to use. Some of them are in your site, some not. I update these whenever changes occur, and make sure they don’t break anything. Here are some often-used pieces that I update:
